Colorado's Common Grant Application (CGA)

Welcome to the online home of Colorado’s Common Grant Application (CGA) and Common Grant Report Format (CGRF). The CGA and CGRF allow Colorado grantmakers and grantseekers to work from a common set of questions that reinforces solid nonprofit practices.
At the same time, the CGA and CGRF save grantseekers time and effort by not having to create different applications and reports for multiple funders.

This website provides an on-line version of the CGA, along with the valuable CGA Users’ Guide, a tool that adds clarity to the application process – and answers many of the questions that grantseekers have regarding grant preparation.

Click on Background to read about the collaborative process that brought the 2008 revision of the Common Grant Application to life. Click on Who Accepts the CGA? for a list of more than 90 Colorado grantmakers accepting the CGA. Remember to always check each grantmaker’s website for the most current information on their grant application and reporting requirements.

The committee that revised the Common Grant Application in 2008 is hard at work revising the Common Grant Report Format and its Tips for Users. Want to be emailed when it launches in July 2009?
